Miles (Chip) Mahan, MD, FACOG

Dr. Miles E. Mahan is currently the Chief of Obstetrics at Memorial Hermann Northeast. Dr. Mahan received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Medicine at Texas Tech University. Dr. Mahan completed both his Internship and Residency while serving our country in the United States Army. Currently, he is in Active Duty with the United States Army Reserves.

Dr. Mahan opened his private practice, Northeast Women's Healthcare, in September of 2001. Dr. Mahan has successfully kept Northeast Women's Healthcare at the forefront by continually providing the newest and most innovative ways of managing women’s healthcare, specializing in Laparoscopic surgery and many in-office procedures.

Dr. Mahan and his wife Susan reside in Kingwood, Texas with their three children. He is a member of Kingwood Second Baptist Church. During his leisure he enjoys playing golf, tennis and working out.
