Postnatal

Our office staff will make every effort to call you during your first postpartum week to see how you and your newborn are feeling and to answer any questions you may have. They will also schedule an appointment for your postpartum visit. A postpartum visit will be between week 2 and 4 depending on the circumstances of your delivery. If you have a cesarean section, there may be a need for more visits.

We also will discuss birth control at the post partum visit, as well as help with transition, and other health concerns at the same time.

We know that the birth of your child is one of the most important experiences of your life and we hope this section will help to ease your transition into parenthood.
