Preparing for Your Visit to Our Office

Here is a list of things to remember before your office visit:

  1. Please bring your insurance card and any other updates of your record. Northeast Women's Healthcare has transitioned to electronic medical records (EMR). This electronic system gives your physician or nurse practitioner easy access to your medical information without the inefficiency and occasional inaccuracies involved in sorting through paper records. In short, EMR allows us to better organize, review and understand your medical information, thus improving the safety and overall quality of your care. As part of your electronic record and to ensure your safety, we will take a photograph of you.
  2. If you are a new patient transferring from another practice, please bring your medical records with you if you feel information about your history would be helpful to the doctor. Otherwise, we can request your records at the time of your appointment.
  3. Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time, so we can update your insurance records, process your co-payment and avoid delays that keep patients waiting.
  4. Remember to bring:
    • Your insurance card
    • Your co-payment - we accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover
    • A list of prescription medications and supplements you take and the dosage.
